We had a great Easter weekend. LOVE this time of year when it's finally starting to warm up a little!! We took the kids on Saturday to hike the Y. The best quote of the day came at the end of the hike when Emily said, "mom, why do people hike the Y?" and I responded "because it's fun!" and she quickly added "well, I don't think it's fun. It hurts my legs." That is coming from a four year old that has now done the hike twice all by herself--not being carried for one step!! Way to go kid! Leah loved the first part of the way and if you look closely you can even see her smile. She was pretty fed up with the whole idea by the time we started heading down the mountain. Dad carried her the whole way to practice for his five day hike with the scouts this summer!!
So, these are the pics as we were running out the door to church on Easter Sunday. We have way cute kids!! Leah already knows to smile when she sees the camera coming!

Is that snow I see behind the Y?! Utah has such crazy weather. Your hike sounded memorable. Meaning your kids (Emily in particular) will remmeber they will never want to hike it again. :) HA ha just kidding.

Are you training them for the family version of Amazing Race? Wow Joe you start them young. I didn't start training the my boys until the were both 9 years old.
